The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh is looking for a dedicated, hard working student for an internship at our organization. The student should have great interpersonal skills and communications skills, and must be able to work independently. All equipment will be supplied for the student’s use. Some duties may be tailored to the intern’s skills and interests.
Examples of intern tasks include:
•Filming program and instructional videos
•Filming and editing of orientation and educational material
•Filming waiting families for the Adoption program
•Filming special events
•Editing videos and audio interviews up to 10 minutes in length at times
•Posting videos on a number of Web sites
•Coordinating photo releases and filming times with those involved
•Developing ideas to enhance the visibility of our program through videos
Requirements
Student pursuing degree in broadcast journalism, film, video production, or related field. Strong computer skills. Proficient in Final Cut Pro and iMovie. Able to work a regular weekly schedule of at least 12-15 hours per week during business hours (some flexibility available). Independent working skills. Some travel around the Pittsburgh area is involved, please have a personal vehicle.

Leefilms of Pittsburgh is seeking short subject screenplays to be produced for budgets up to $1000.00. Scripts can be narrative or documentary and must have minimal locations, costumes and props and should be able to be shot in no more than 2 weekends. Leefilms will select the project to be developed. Projects will be ongoing.
