The Design Division at La Roche University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Adjunct Professor—Film. This position is for an adjunct faculty member to teach Film Theory and Analysis. The course is scheduled for the 2022 Spring Semester and meets Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 pm EST. The position requires remote, synchronous teaching (students and faculty meet at a set time each week on zoom). Adjunct assignments are part-time and may be temporary, on an as needed basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provide quality instruction for new and continuing students in our Film Program
· Ability to teach, interact, and evaluate students who come from diverse backgrounds and levels of ability
· Evaluate student progress and provide appropriate feedback
· Follow established teaching procedures and protocols within the Design Division

Education/Qualifications:
· Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in Film or social sciences preferred, Bachelor’s required
· Ability to use online course platforms to present materials and evaluate student work
· Prior teaching experience of topic given priority; familiarity with film theory expected
