Point Park University’s Cinema Arts Department seeks to identify available adjunct faculty with expertise in film and media production to teach our introductory Production 1/Production 2 courses with a focus on pre-production and production for narrative filmmaking. The candidate must be knowledgeable and experienced in basic video production with an understanding of story development, managing locations/schedules, preparing script for production, basic lighting techniques, cinematography, directing, working with actors, and collaboration with crew.
Ideal candidates will live in the surrounding Pittsburgh area, have teaching experience at the University-level, and/or significant professional cinema production accomplishments. Terminal degree preferred.
